Get ready to open the user panel

Start here

Create an account and open the user panel

Start by opening the 87VPN account creation page. The requirements are simple: no email address is required—choose a username you plan to keep using and set a password. You’ll use the username to sign in later, so choose something easy to recognize and distinct from usernames used on other services. Store the password separately and avoid reusing the same credentials across websites.

After submitting the form, you’ll enter the user panel. On your first visit, check that the username you just created appears at the top of the page or in the account area. Then look for entries such as “Account Overview,” “Buy a Plan,” and “Download Client” in the navigation. Having no subscription at this stage is normal; choose a plan next. Do not look for shared subscriptions in search results, chat messages, or other sources. Use only the content generated for your account in the user panel for subsequent setup.

If the page says the username is already taken, go back and choose another one. If the user panel does not open, return to the sign-in page and use the credentials you just set. More complex account issues are outside this guide; see the Help Center’s account and subscription guide.

Confirm data allowance and billing period

Your account is ready

Choose a plan and place your order

In the Plans section of the user panel, decide whether a monthly subscription that resets on schedule or a data plan used until exhausted suits you better. Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB; data resets monthly on the activation date. If you upgrade partway through a cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Monthly subscriptions are easier to manage when you connect regularly and use a fairly consistent amount each month.

Data plans include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They remain valid until the data is used and never expire. If your usage is occasional or you want to save data for later, compare the data plans. Both options support unlimited devices, but all connected devices share the plan’s allowance. Choose capacity based on total usage rather than a single device.

After confirming your choice, click the selection button for the relevant plan. Check the name, price, and allowance shown on the page, then pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. Do not repeatedly submit the same order before payment is complete. After returning to the user panel, rely on the plan status shown in Account Overview. If the status has not updated, refresh the panel or reopen Account Overview before deciding whether to submit a support ticket.

87VPN offers 30-day no-questions-asked refunds. See the Plans page for full differences between plans, data reset rules, and upgrade details. This page covers only the selection steps needed for your first connection.

Subscription

Get configuration from Account Overview

Your plan is active

In the user panel, get your subscription link

Once your payment status is active, open Account Overview in the user panel. Find the subscription information section, where you’ll see the subscription entry for your account. Click Copy, but do not paste the link into a web search box, public document, or group chat. It lets a client read your route configuration, so keep it only on your own devices and in trusted clients.

A subscription link is usually a long URL. If you need to recognize its format, use the placeholder below only as a visual example. It cannot connect to any service and cannot replace the real content in your panel:

https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN

After copying, do not manually remove or change any characters in the URL, and do not add spaces or line breaks. Open the client for your platform and paste the complete link into its subscription or configuration entry. If the client reports a format error, return to Account Overview and copy it again instead of editing it character by character. When subscription content changes, use “Update Subscription” in the client; you do not need to create another account or purchase the plan again.

The subscription entry in the user panel and the client download entry are part of the same account flow. If you have not installed a compatible client, open the download area in the panel first. The marketing pages do not provide static installers or expose personal subscription content.

Client

Complete the import for your platform

Platform setup

Import the subscription on each platform

Open the client download area in the user panel and choose the 87VPN client or a compatible client for your operating system. Eligibility and plan status are checked inside the panel, so always access download entries from the signed-in user panel. After installation, the client’s first launch will typically offer options such as adding a configuration, importing a subscription, or opening the main interface. Whatever the label, the goal is to save the link copied in the previous section as a remote subscription and let the client load the route list.

Windows client

Choose the Windows entry in the user panel and get the client. After installation, open the main interface and look for an entry such as “Add Subscription,” “Subscription Manager,” or “Import from Link.” Paste the complete subscription link into the address field, give the configuration an easy-to-recognize name, and save it. Return to the main interface and run an update once. When region and route names appear, the import is complete. If the client asks you to choose a running mode, keep the panel’s recommended default for your first use; there is no need to change advanced network parameters first.

macOS client

Open the macOS client section from the user panel and follow the instructions to get and install it. On first launch, macOS may ask you to approve network configuration permissions; read the system prompt and allow the client to create a connection. Then open subscription or configuration management, choose the option to add via link, paste the subscription URL, and save it. After updating, confirm that selectable routes appear in the menu bar or client window before moving to the next section for connection verification.

Android client

Choose the Android entry in the user panel. In the client, open subscription management from the configuration page, choose to add a remote configuration, paste the copied link in full, and confirm. Once the client finishes loading, return to the route page and choose a node. When connecting for the first time, the system will show an authorization prompt to establish a network connection. Confirm it so the client can handle current network requests. If authorization is canceled, the imported route will not actually work; click Connect again and complete the confirmation.

iOS client

Open the iOS client instructions in the user panel and get the compatible client through the provided entry. Open subscription management or remote configuration, choose to add from a link, and paste the subscription URL. Save and update it, then approve the system request to add a network configuration before connecting. If the route list is empty, first check whether the subscription updated successfully. Do not create several identical configurations in succession, or it may become difficult to tell which one is active.

Linux is also supported; see the user panel for the specific entry. Menu labels, system permissions, and update methods vary by client. This guide does not cover advanced rules, routing modes, or protocol parameters. To understand route principles or systematic configuration, read the relevant chapters in The Complete Guide to Cross-Border Access.

Verification

Confirm the connection and exit location

Import complete

Connect to a route and verify it works

After the subscription update finishes, choose a region from the route list that matches your destination. For your first connection, start with a nearby region and a clearly labeled route, then click the client’s connection switch. Once the client shows Connected, keep the current window open and avoid switching through multiple nodes immediately. Wait for the network state to stabilize before checking the exit.

Open this site’s IP lookup page and check whether the current exit IP and region have changed. The key is not memorizing a particular address, but confirming that the displayed region matches the route you selected. Then open the website or app you actually need and check sign-in, page loading, and persistent connections. If a service has separate account-region requirements, changing the network exit does not automatically change the account region; check the service’s own region settings separately.

If the client shows Connected but the IP lookup result has not changed, disconnect and reconnect to the same route first, then check whether the client has system network permission. If it still does not work, update the subscription and test another route in the same region. If websites load but a particular service fails, note the platform, target service, selected region, and point of failure, then continue troubleshooting with the Help Center’s connection and troubleshooting guide.

Ongoing use

Keep your subscription and routes working

Everyday use

Update the subscription and handle basic maintenance

After your first successful connection, you do not need to create another account or import the subscription again. Once the client has saved the subscription, run an update from its configuration page to load the routes currently available to your account. Monthly subscription data resets each month on the activation date, while data plans remain valid until used and never expire. Check the Account Overview in the user panel for your current balance and plan status.

Multiple devices can use the same account subscription configuration. 87VPN supports unlimited devices, but all devices share and consume the allowance included with the plan. For easier management, use the same subscription name on each device and keep only the configuration you currently use. When changing your password, handling unusual sign-ins, or reorganizing devices, return to the user panel and check your account status instead of relying on old screenshots or previously copied plan details.

When connection problems occur, work through these steps in order: check plan status, update the subscription, confirm system permissions, try another route in the same region, and check the exit. This is usually easier to diagnose than changing several settings at once. Common errors, speed checks, and billing issues are covered in the Help Center. For route types, streaming region behavior, and more advanced route-selection logic, continue with The Complete Guide to Cross-Border Access.
